I built the South Korea Visa Appointment Platform for a Nepal-based education agency. Staff prepared student records in the app, and the system attempted bookings when embassy appointments opened. My work continued for more than a year because the embassy kept changing its booking process.
The agency had to arrange embassy appointments for students planning to study in South Korea. Open slots could appear without much notice and disappear quickly. The team needed student details ready before each release so it could act while appointments were available.
I built the staff website and the booking backend. Staff entered each student's details before scheduling a run. During that window, the backend checked for openings and tried to book an appointment. The website showed the result for each student.
The embassy moved bookings to a different platform, so I built a new booking flow. Later, it changed how users signed in, which required another update.
The site also introduced new protections. I adjusted the booking flow as those checks changed. Appointment slots began appearing at different times and in smaller batches, so I updated the scheduling and monitoring to keep checking throughout a release.
The agency used the platform with real student records, and the dashboard displayed appointments already booked for them. Later, the embassy suspended its appointment requirement. The team no longer needed that booking workflow.
